In this role, you'll play an essential role in supporting students’ speech, language, and communication growth. You will:
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough speech and language assessments to identify student needs.
- Develop and implement effective, individualized IEP goals.
- Deliver direct therapy, both one-on-one and in group settings, ensuring engaging and targeted interventions.
- Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to foster a supportive learning environment.
- Keep detailed documentation and actively participate in IEP meetings.
- Track student progress, modifying strategies to maximize student success.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience in schools or pediatric settings is a plus.
- Active Michigan Speech-Language Pathology certification required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening.
