Responsibilities:
• Process payroll for employees, including union and non-union workers, while adhering to specific project guidelines.
• Accurately enter payroll data into systems, ensuring proper categorization based on individual roles and shifts.
• Manage payroll adjustments, including bonuses, shift differentials, and garnishments.
• Collaborate with team members to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Utilize Sage and spreadsheet software to maintain accurate payroll records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies related to payroll.
• Assist in billing processes and provide support during team member absences.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for audit purposes.
• Adapt to project-specific nuances and provide solutions to unique payroll challenges.
• Contribute to a collaborative and conscientious work environment.• Proven experience in payroll processing, including full-cycle payroll management.
• Familiarity with payroll systems such as Sage and proficiency in spreadsheet software.
• Ability to handle payroll for 101-500 employees, including garnishments and adjustments.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing complex payroll data.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and the initiative to ask questions and find solutions.
• Comfortable working onsite in a business casual environment.
• Knowledge of union payroll processes and project-specific payroll nuances.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
