About the Role
PG&E is seeking a Senior Compliance Consultant to support enterprise compliance and risk management initiatives across Shared Services. This role partners with cross-functional teams to strengthen compliance programs, manage regulatory requirements, improve processes, and ensure audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead compliance and risk management projects across Shared Services
- Interpret and manage regulatory requirements (CPUC, FERC, OEIS, CAISO)
- Support compliance documentation, controls, audits, and risk assessments
- Conduct SOX self-assessments and environmental compliance reviews
- Develop process improvements, metrics, and compliance guidance
- Collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance and regulatory readiness
- Maintain documentation, process maps, and reporting using Microsoft tools
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of compliance, risk management, or regulatory consulting experience
- Utility industry experience
- Strong knowledge of compliance frameworks and regulatory requirements
- Experience with project management and process improvement
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of CPUC, FERC, OEIS, or CAISO regulations
- Experience with Microsoft Visio and SharePoint
- Advanced degree preferred
