The Role
We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. This role works closely with clients to deliver accurate, timely, and insightful accounting and tax services.
This is a hybrid with flexibility and responsibility for managing multiple clients and deadlines.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP
- Prepare individual and business tax returns and support tax planning initiatives
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Handle payroll, sales tax, and related compliance filings
- Identify discrepancies, trends, and risks in financial data
- Communicate financial information clearly to clients and internal stakeholders
- Utilize accounting and tax software efficiently, with a focus on automation
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with individual and business tax preparation
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High ethical standards and sound professional judgment
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of general accounting experience
- 3+ years of business tax preparation experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Experience with QuickBooks Online
- Experience with Intuit ProConnect

- Salary range: $45,000–$65,000
