Job DescriptionUnder new ownership as of last year, big changes being made. We've improved food and beverage selections, overall efficiency and vibe.

Open 7-days a week in the Mad River Valley

We are a from scratch kitchen, serving sandwiches, soups and baked goods. Can be a very fast paced environment at times. We have been growing our catering side of the business as well, we are just expanding faster than we anticipated!

We strive to create a fun, all inclusive work environment! We value getting to know our regulars and they will want to meet you too!

Early or later starts available to accommodate all scheduling needs. Full Time position with a 4 day work week. All positions are tipped, and base pay starts at $14-$16/hr after tips take home is between $18-$24/ hr.

Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and outgoing Barista to join our team! In this role, you will welcome customers into the coffee shop and prepare their coffee orders. Your goal is to ensure patrons enjoy their drinks and time at our shop. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee and is willing to go above and beyond to ensure customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:

  • Welcome customers into the coffee shop with a smile
  • Take food and beverage orders
  • Explain the menu items to customers
  • Create a variety of espresso-based drinks, from basic to more complex
  • Enter orders into the POS system with accuracy and efficiency
  • Bus tables, wash some dishes and wipe down surfaces
  • Maintain a clean work environment
  • Ability to follow basic recipes for sauces, flavored syrups and coffee/tea preparation
  • Baking pastries that have already been prepped by the baker every morning/ through the day

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Must have reliable transportation
