Note: This is a 3-month assignment in Lanai City, HI


Job Summary:


The Prep Cook supports the audit team's on-site operations by preparing and organizing food items for meals and refreshments during engagements. This role ensures efficient meal service and contributes to a professional, well-supported audit environment by maintaining high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hospitality.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare ingredients and assist in assembling meals and refreshments for audit team and client service
  • Ensure all food items are prepared according to health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of food preparation and service areas throughout the day
  • Label, store, and manage inventory of perishable and non-perishable items
  • Support our team with timely setup and breakdown of meal service stations
  • Communicate with team leads to coordinate timing and quantity of food based on event or audit session needs
  • Handle kitchen tools and equipment safely and efficiently
  • Follow all site-specific food handling and hospitality guidelines


Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic food preparation, safety, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to follow recipes and preparation instructions accurately
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
