Merchology seeks a Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator to join our team from August to October as we prepare for our busiest time of year. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Partner, the Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for working with our hiring and HR team to assist with recruiting and onboarding new employees, with a focus on seasonal hires. Duties will include working in our ATS (Paylocity), reviewing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, collaborating with hiring managers, and assisting with onboarding paperwork and processes.



A successful Seasonal Recruiting Coordinator will:

  • Assist with end-to-end seasonal recruitment processes, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, tracking, and supporting the selection of final candidates.
  • Provide a positive and professional candidate experience, ensuring timely communication and feedback via phone call, email, and ATS.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition Partner to select and screen candidates for interviews.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, ensuring a smooth and efficient process all while showcasing a positive and attractive company culture to potential candidates.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to gather feedback and support candidate advancement or rejection decisions.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of on-site hiring fairs.
  • Maintain files, spreadsheets, and relevant database information associated with personnel, benefits, general information throughout the recruiting process.
  • Collaborate with The People Team and hiring managers to support a seamless onboarding process for new employees, which includes conducting onboarding sessions and assisting in the completion of required paperwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, relevant experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with hiring managers, candidates, and team members
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong ability to multi-task as needed
  • Detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and completeness in all HR-related activities
  • Experience using Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and other relevant tools for data management and reporting; Paylocity experience is a plus

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
  • 1+ Years of experience as a Recruiter or HR Coordinator

  • Remote hybrid role: Three days onsite and two days remote following training - there is no option for fully remote work.
