Job DescriptionWe are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Receptionist to join our team in Hillsborough, North Carolina. This is a Contract position requiring exceptional communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. As the first point of contact for visitors and callers, you will play a key role in maintaining the smooth flow of operations.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and assist visitors in a welcoming and attentive manner.
• Manage incoming calls using a multi-line phone system, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.
• Operate a switchboard with 1-10 phone lines to handle inquiries efficiently.
• Direct inbound calls to the appropriate departments or personnel.
• Maintain the front desk area by keeping it organized and presentable.
• Provide accurate information about services and direct visitors as needed.
• Handle part-time receptionist duties with flexibility and reliability.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless communication across departments.
• Assist with basic administrative tasks as required.• Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in managing multi-line phone systems and switchboards.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented demeanor with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with basic administrative procedures.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Availability to work part-time on a flexible schedule.
