**Join Our Team as a Medical Technologist/Technician!**\n\n**Job Description:**\n\n- Exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic small rural hospital lab! \n- 7 on 7 off schedule: Wednesday to Tuesday, 7 PM to 7:30 AM. \n- Ideal for those who thrive in independent roles, managing workflows overnight. \n\n**Specific Job Duties/Responsibilities:**\n\n- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of our organization. \n- Work under the Laboratory Manager to perform vital tests, aiding in disease prevention and treatment. \n- Accession and order tests within the Laboratory Information Systems (LIS); process specimens and coordinate with reference labs. \n- Operate, maintain, and calibrate lab equipment for accurate results. \n- Conduct basic troubleshooting as necessary. \n- Ensure compliance with documentation standards set by regulatory agencies; develop lab policies and procedures. \n- Adhere to sterilization and infection control procedures while handling clinical specimens. \n- Utilize your skills and dedication to perform analytical testing across laboratory sections. \n- Deliver excellent customer service and be comfortable with routine phlebotomy. \n\n**Qualifications/Skills:**\n\n- Medical Laboratory Technician: \n - Associate’s degree from accredited Medical Technology/Laboratory Science program. \n - Certification/registration by one of the following: MLT(ASCP), MLT(AMT), CLT(NCA). \n\n- Medical Technologist: \n - Bachelor’s degree from accredited Medical Technology/Laboratory Science program. \n - Certification/registration by one of the following: MT(ASCP), MT(AMT), CLS(NCA). \n\n- Preferred: Minimum one year of experience in a lab setting. \n- Strong knowledge of hospital lab practices, infection control requirements, and regulatory standards. \n\n**Physical Requirements:**\n\n- Normal to light office work; ability to lift up to 10 lbs. \n- Extended periods of walking, standing, and sitting; use of hands for operating a computer keyboard and office equipment. \n\n**Cognitive Requirements:**\n\n- Proficient reading, writing, and calculation skills. \n- Strong social interaction abilities. \n- Excellent reasoning and analytical skills. \n- Capable of working independently with minimal supervision; must adapt priorities as necessary. \n\n**Language Requirements:**\n\n- Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. \n- Ability to communicate effectively through verbal and written skills. \n\n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** \nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
