POSITION SUMMARY

Using sandpaper or power sanders, ensure all parts are smooth without defect before being painted. If parts need to have paint touch-ups may also sand parts after the painting process to ensure a new coat of paint can adhere to the part.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sand parts by hand and power-sander to remove any defects on parts before being painted
• Able to communicate with team members
• Contributes to continuous improvement activities in the department
• Use ERP system to assist in completed rework coordination
• Works to meet LSI quality standards

ATTRIBUTES

• Use hand tools
• Able to take direction
• Functions in a fast-paced environment

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Able to stand for the duration of shift

The target hourly range is $18.50 - $20.00, depending upon qualifications and experience. This position qualifies for a shift differential of $3.00 per hour. Expanded pay ranges may be available for growth and advancement opportunities. In addition to hourly pay, the compensation package also includes eligibility for profit-sharing and monthly bonus opportunity.
