A-Line Staffing is now hiring Infusion Pharmacists in Tulsa, OK.
The Infusion Pharmacist would be working onsite and has career growth potential. This is a full-time position, Monday–Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the possibility of overtime. The role requires alternating on-call weekends and weekdays.

Infusion Pharmacist Highlights
• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs.
• The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM with overtime and alternating on-call weekends and weekdays.

Infusion Pharmacist Responsibilities
• Accept and dispense prescription medications.
• Monitor patient medication compliance and over-usage patterns.
• Ensure that the supply of medicines is within the law.
• Verify the suitability of medicines prescribed to patients.
• Maintain confidential records of all patients and manage pharmacy files.
• Advise patients about medicines, including usage, potential reactions, and answer questions.
• Provide consultation on prescription and non-prescription medications regarding storage, dosage, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Offer services such as smoking cessation, blood pressure measurement, and cholesterol management.
• Educate patients on proper handling of medical devices like blood pressure monitors and glucose meters.
• Compound medications for external or internal use.
• Prepare sterile solutions following proper procedures.
• Supervise pharmacy staff members, including pharmacy technicians and clerks.
• Maintain appropriate inventory of pharmaceutical and medical supplies.
• Identify drug-related problems and communicate effectively with physicians and healthcare practitioners.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, other pharmacists, and pharmacy interns.

Infusion Pharmacist Requirements
• Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
• Licensed by the Oklahoma State Pharmacy Board.
• Infusion Pharmacy experience preferred but not required.
