Overview:
This remote role involves handling financial records, processing transactions, managing vendor credits, and ensuring timely and professional correspondence related to billing and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and experienced in basic accounting functions and credit management.
Responsibilities:

Process and record daily financial transactions (invoices, payments, receipts).

Track and reconcile vendor credits, refunds, and returns.

Communicate with vendors and suppliers regarding account balances, credit memos, and billing discrepancies.

Support month-end closing by preparing reports and reconciling accounts.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in accounting software.

Collaborate with the management team to resolve payment issues or discrepancies.

Assist with audit preparation and documentation.

Handle confidential information with integrity and discretion.
Requirements:

Must be authorized to work in the United States.

Must be based in the USA and able to work remotely.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related field.

Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).

Strong Excel and data entry skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for vendor correspondence.

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices.

Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus.
