Our work involves precision rigging, structural modifications, welding, concrete work, and mechanical problem-solving across the Midwest.

Position Overview
We are seeking a Field Installation Technician / Skilled Rigger to join our growing team.

This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, solving mechanical challenges, traveling, and working with specialized equipment. Technicians can learn multiple trades and advance into lead roles.

Projects range from installing ATMs to rigging multi-thousand-pound vaults and modifying structures. Each job requires mechanical thinking, adaptability, and teamwork.

Skills & Experience You Will Gain
Technicians at FIS gain experience across several specialized trades including:

• Heavy equipment rigging and machinery moving
• Concrete cutting, coring, forming, and finishing
• Steel fabrication and field welding
• Pneumatic banking system installation
• Installation of ATMs, vaults, and safes
• Electrical and low-voltage integration
• Specialty mounting and anchoring systems

Key Responsibilities
• Assist with installation and removal of ATMs, vault doors, safes, and equipment
• Perform rigging and safe handling of heavy equipment using specialized tools
• Assist with concrete cutting, forming, mixing, and finishing
• Support welding and fabrication work in the field
• Install and service pneumatic drive-up banking systems
• Assist with electrical and low-voltage connections for ATM and security equipment
• Maintain professional job site and safety standards
• Transport tools, materials, and equipment to job sites
• Communicate with team leaders and project managers
• Travel regularly throughout the Midwest Requirements
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Ability to pass background checks required for financial institution work
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to travel frequently with overnight stays
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Comfortable performing physically demanding work
• Ability to lift heavy materials and operate power tools safely

Preferred Experience (Not Required)
Experience in construction, concrete work, welding, rigging, mechanical installation, electrical/low-voltage work, or equipment service is helpful.

Compensation
$20–$30 per hour depending on experience
Opportunities for overtime, travel per diem, and advancement to lead technician positions.

Work Schedule
Monday–Friday (typical 8-hour shifts)
Overtime and occasional weekend work depending on project demands.
