Location: Duluth, MN
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks

Pay: $2,362/week

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Duluth, MN on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide critical care to patients with life-threatening conditions requiring continuous monitoring, advanced nursing interventions, and multidisciplinary collaboration. The ideal candidate is highly skilled, adaptable, and experienced in high-acuity ICU environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct and continuous nursing care to critically ill patients.
  • Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex IV therapies.
  • Operate and monitor advanced medical equipment including ventilators and infusion pumps.
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team on treatment plans.
  • Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in compliance with facility and regulatory standards.
  • Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and recovery expectations.
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and ICU best practices.

Qualifications

  • Current and valid RN license in Minnesota (or compact eligibility).
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent ICU/critical care nursing experience in an acute care setting.
  • Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Strong critical thinking, assessment, and clinical decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, high-acuity environments.
  • COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
