Job DescriptionJob Title: Boiler TechnicianSummary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Boiler Technician to join our team. This position involves working in the shop and eventually onsite at customer locations for boiler installations. The technician will be responsible for accurate testing and troubleshooting of building systems and may also assemble and build out pumps.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate professionally with warehouse employees, service team, contractors, and end users.
  • Learn and perform commissioning and tuning of complete boiler room equipment and other facility-related systems.
  • Conduct accurate testing and troubleshooting of building systems.
  • Assemble and build out pumps as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Class 3 or Class 5 Boiler License, or progress toward the 2000 hours required for licensing.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability and willingness to work in and foster a team atmosphere.
  • Strong knowledge of boiler systems including boilers, burners, accessories, and flue stacks.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Attention to detail, follow-through, and customer service orientation.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with pipe fabrication, assembly, and construction.
  • Experience with refractory and pipe-fitting.
  • Project management experience in boiler and burner retrofits.
  • Technical training and experience with HVAC systems.

Work Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM start time

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $38.00/hr.
