Job DescriptionFinancial Services Operations Specialist (Hybrid)

Location: Golden Valley, MN

Schedule: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote after training)

Employment Type: 4 month contract with potential for extension and long-term opportunities

The position combines high-volume processing with customer service, supporting financial professionals who submit applications and requests on behalf of their clients.

Responsibilities

  • Review and process financial product applications for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify missing information and resolve documentation issues.
  • Communicate with Financial Advisors, Financial Professionals, and internal business partners via phone and email.
  • Research and resolve application discrepancies.
  • Process a high volume of transactions while maintaining accuracy and quality standards.
  • Follow established procedures, compliance requirements, and service-level expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure applications are approved and placed in force efficiently.

Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a corporate environment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with business partners by phone and email.

Preferred

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Financial services, banking, insurance, or operations experience.
  • Call center or customer service experience
  • Experience processing applications, documentation, policies, claims, or financial transactions.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Golden Valley, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
