Aerotek Hiring For General Production Worker
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will operate machinery and power tools such as mills, chop saws, joiners, and nail guns to assemble pre-fabricated and pre-hung doors. Your role involves measuring materials, working from instructions, and accurately reading work orders to install appropriate parts like hinges. You may also assist in prepping and sanding doors for the paint booth.
Responsibilities

- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Essential Skills
- Experience with power tools and tape measures.

- Willingness to learn and take direction.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with construction tools is a plus.
- Forklift operation experience is beneficial.
- Past experience in construction, production, or warehouse is helpful.

Work Environment
Work in a bustling wholesale distributor and door manufacturing environment, similar to a large wood shop. The setting can be messy with wood scraps and involves exposure to sawdust, glue, paint, acetone, and other chemicals. Join a team of 30+ individuals working closely on a fast-paced production line handling 300+ doors daily. Be prepared for physical work, including lifting doors weighing 70-100+ lbs
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Spokane Valley, WA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
