Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized opportunity for a Radiology Technologist with imaging expertise is available in Quincy, MA, supporting a reputable medical center. This contract position focuses on interventional radiology (IR) with an emphasis on neuro cases, including acute strokes, traumas, and vascular procedures. Candidates must demonstrate strong experience and certification credentials to thrive in this dynamic clinical environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform advanced interventional radiology procedures, particularly neuro and vascular imaging.
  • Support acute trauma and stroke patients with precise and timely imaging services.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced Level I Trauma and Cath Lab setting.
  • Respond promptly during on-call shifts, maintaining readiness with a 30-minute callback time.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and patient care standards.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Minimum 2-3 years of IR experience, with strong neuro, trauma, and vascular case exposure.
  • Experience working in Level I Trauma centers and Cath Labs is preferred.
  • Required certifications: ARRT or RCIS credential, Massachusetts state licensure, BLS, and ACLS.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work during night/weekend on-call rotations.

Schedule/Hours:

  • AM shifts with 10-hour or 8, 10, and 12-hour combinations during weekdays (Monday to Friday).
  • On-call coverage for nights, weekends, and one major holiday.
  • Call rooms available to accommodate on-call staff.
