Brief Description:
· Provide Service Support to customers on Schuler and Non-Schuler products.
· Pro-Actively generate Order intake & Sales by recommending various products, solutions and
services to customers. Generating quotes, sending them on time with regular follow-up.
Secondary:
· Manages internal resources to ensure customer satisfaction during sales phase.
· Provides Technical support to the Outside sales team for generating quotes. Approaching customer
for technical clarification and Order finalization.
· Interfaces with Engineering and Field service personnel for technical support and customer follow-up
actions.
Key Responsibilities:
· Follow department guidelines for various processes related to Inside Sales Function.
· Generate Quotes as per Customer Requirement and ensure its accuracy
· Ensure Quotes are completed and sent on time as agreed with the customer.
· Continue Monitoring the progress of the quote and update system until the quote is closed,
Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers for follow-ups with the customers.
· Build strong relationship and Trust with customers through technical knowledge and by keeping our
commitments.
· Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction related to service and spare parts support.
· Assist customers in person via phone/email to address their technical and commercial issues.
· Maintain proper cost calculation backups in company defined folders/software.
· Initiate and Lead Meetings after order intake for proper handover. Interfaces with Service
Coordinators to schedule available resources to meet customer requirements.
· Define and deliver scope of supply with supporting technical documentation to Project Manager, Field
Operations for execution of sales orders and projects sold.
· Works with detailed drawings, schematics, written/verbal instructions and bills of material as needed
to direct the assembly or repair of a full range of components.
· Monitor open orders in SAP and coordinate with Order Fulfillment/Procurement Department to
ensure on time delivery to customer.
· Ensures customer accounts are current, resolves disputes and supports accounting in collections of
past due invoices when required.
· Develop and promote preventive maintenance, training programs and spare parts packages with
support of SIC service group or affiliate Engineering. Pro-Actively generate new Sales opportunities by
offering tailored technical solutions to customers and follow-up on timely basis for Finalization of order.
· Achieve monthly order Intake and Sales Target maintaining profitability.
· Follow Order cycle and review for unaccounted cost booked on order.
· Travelling will be required to Customers, Suppliers and Schuler Affiliates.
Knowledge, Skills, Requirements:
· Minimum 5 years’ experience with metal forming equipment.
· Technical background and understanding of drawings are a must. Engineering Degree (preferably
Mechanical) is an advantage.
· Possess extensive experience, understanding and interpretation skills of technical drawings.
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Project and SAP.
· Must possess a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
· Must possess a valid passport or be able to obtain one.
· Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software
