We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager to oversee the full accounts payable process at a company in Highland Heights, Ohio. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage vendor relationships, monitor payment schedules, and ensure accuracy in all transactions. You will also lead a small team and play a key role in maintaining financial integrity. This is a direct hire position with standard fulltime business hours. Prior management experience is a must!
Responsibilities:
• Supervise and manage the accounts payable process, ensuring all invoices are accurately coded and processed.
• Oversee one direct report, providing guidance and ensuring team efficiency.
• Handle complex accounts payable tasks, including processing purchase orders and prepayments.
• Reapply payments and ensure vendor correspondence is properly managed.
• Verify invoices against shipping details and purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
• Process vendor invoices, charge customers appropriately, and perform checks and balances.
• Manage online supplier payments and credit card transactions.
• Monitor vendor accounts to prevent delays in payments and address discrepancies.
• Match packing slips and bills of lading to corresponding invoices.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures while maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

• Proven experience in accounts payable management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of invoice coding and check runs.
• Ability to oversee and mentor team members effectively.
• Proficiency in handling vendor communication and resolving payment discrepancies.
• Familiarity with processing purchase orders and matching invoices to shipping documents.
• Experience with online payment systems and credit card transactions.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
