Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Occupational / Employee Health
Location: Peterborough, NH
Position Type: Permanent | Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Setting: Outpatient / Family Care Practice
Position Overview
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support Occupational/Employee Health and primary care services within an outpatient medical practice. This role collaborates with leadership, healthcare professionals, and employers to promote workplace health and safety while delivering high-quality patient care.
The LPN may support Family Care, Orthopedics, or Internal Medicine services depending on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Patient Care
- Provide assessment, diagnosis support, management, and documentation of occupational and non-occupational illness and injury
- Deliver primary care nursing services in an outpatient setting
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Case Management & Occupational Health
- Manage cases related to workplace and non-workplace illnesses and injuries
- Conduct health hazard assessments and employee health surveillance
- Investigate illness/injury trends and recommend preventive strategies
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations
Health Promotion & Education
- Develop and implement health promotion and disease prevention initiatives
- Provide counseling, education, and training using adult learning principles
- Participate in occupational health research and quality initiatives
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing (Required)
Experience
- 1–2 years of healthcare experience (Required)
- Occupational and/or Employee Health experience (Preferred)
Licensure & Certification
- Active New Hampshire LPN license (Required at time of submission)
- BLS (AHA) certification (Required)
- Breath Alcohol Technician Certification (Preferred)
- Specialty certification (Preferred)
Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
Compensation
- Hourly Range:

- $23.00/hour (New Graduate)
- Up to $25.00/hour (Based on experience)
