Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers the opportunity to provide specialized educational support to K-8 students with moderate to severe needs in a dynamic school setting in Stockton, CA. This full-time contract role runs from the start of the school year until its conclusion, focusing on delivering tailored instruction and support to help students thrive academically and socially.

Qualifications:

  • California Moderate/Severe Education Specialist Credential
  • Experience working with moderate to severe caseloads in a K-8 educational environment
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with educators, families, and support staff

Job Details:

  • Location: Stockton, CA
  • School Type: K-12, focusing on K-8 age group
  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Schedule: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
  • Caseload: Moderate to severe needs students

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering individualized instructional plans for students with special needs
  • Collaborating with general education teachers, therapists, and families to support student progress
  • Monitoring and documenting student growth and adjusting strategies accordingly
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to school-wide initiatives focused on inclusive education
