West Texas Premix pits is currently seeking an experienced HSE coordinator/ manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Promote a safe workspace culture amongst the company
- Hold regular safety meetings in large groups or smaller tailgate meetings
- Monitor a drug screening program
- Handle case management for incidents
- Conduct Investigations, root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
- Routine inspections of employees and equipment in the field
- Work with management to achieve safety goals
- Communicate safety needs of customers
- Manage our standings in customer portals (ISnet, Pec, etc.)
- Create handbooks
- Certify employees in customer required classes (H2S, Safeland, basin)
Requirements
- 3 year experience in the safety field
- Electrical knowledge (preferred but not necessary)
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate needs from employees and management on customer and company needs.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge such as word, excel, etc. (Experience with a digital safety software is a plus)
- Valid Driver License
- Bilingual (preferred)
