How you will make an impact:
As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) or Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) at St. Mark Village, you will work under the supervision of Occupational Therapists to confirm care plans and assist during patient sessions. Your duties will include advising families on care needs in accordance with legal requirements, instructing patients on the use of adaptive technology and equipment, conducting home visits to demonstrate functional skills, mobility, and home safety, and coordinating activities to improve physical, mental, and social functioning.
Schedule: This role has day-time PRN availability, as well as weekend availability on Sundays.
What you will need:
- Registered and licensed in the state of Florida to practice as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. (required)
- Minimum of an associate’s degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant school or equivalent. (required)
