Job Title: Project Engineer
Description:
Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects from pre‑construction through closeout. This role bridges the gap between project management and field operations, ensuring that technical details, documentation, and communication flow smoothly. The Project Engineer helps keep projects on schedule, within budget, and aligned with contract requirements.
Job Duties:
- Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent with day‑to‑day project operations.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and ensure alignment with project plans.
- Support procurement of materials, equipment, and services.
- Review drawings, specifications, and submittals for accuracy and compliance.
- Manage project logs: submittals, RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and meeting minutes.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
o 1+ years’ experience as a project engineer or coordinator within the construction industry
o Experience reviewing or submitting change orders, submittals, project reporting, etc.
o Strong computer skills- Microsoft suites – any type of project management software is a bonus
Monday-Friday:
40-50 hours / week

This is a Contract position based out of West Burlington, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
