Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent
- Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred; consideration given to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates
- Experience in pediatric or school environments is highly desired
- Familiarity with healthcare or school-based SLP practice
- Bilingual Mandarin skills are a plus but not required for consideration
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with students, families, and educational staff
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver speech, language, and communication interventions in both one-on-one and group settings
- Document progress, maintain detailed records, and provide regular updates to teachers and parents
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Foster a supportive, inclusive atmosphere where students can thrive socially and academically
- Stay updated with best practices in pediatric speech-language pathology
