Manufacturing Engineer II

Job Description

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support and improve production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on optimizing processes, improving efficiency, and driving quality through strong technical expertise and problem-solving.

This position will work closely with production and maintenance teams to analyze root causes, resolve process issues, and implement improvements that enhance overall performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and analyze manufacturing processes and systems
• Improve, document, and standardize existing production processes
• Diagnose manufacturing and process-related issues and implement solutions
• Recommend and execute process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
• Support production and maintenance teams with troubleshooting and problem-solving
• Assist with machine setup, equipment failures, and product specification deviations
• Inspect parts during production to ensure compliance with specifications
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, quality, and workflow
• Maintain professionalism when working cross-functionally with production, leadership, and external partners
• Handle sensitive manufacturing and technical information with confidentiality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
• 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, manufacturing processes, and production techniques
• Experience in metal fabrication and welded assemblies preferred
• Proven ability to analyze root causes and solve complex process and quality issues
• Hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment, troubleshooting, and process improvements
• Strong understanding of process control and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports
• Effective time and resource management skills to meet production and quality goals
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across diverse teams
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across departments
• Self-motivated with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
