\n\nJob Requirements / Qualifications\n
- \n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state-specific or compact where applicable)\n
- Minimum 1 year of ICU nursing experience required; 2 years preferred (SICU/Neuro ICU experience highly desired)\n
- ACLS and BLS certifications required\n
- Critical care certification (CCRN) preferred\n
- Experience with ICU equipment and critical care procedures: ventilators, arterial lines, central venous lines, hemodynamic monitoring\n
- Ability to float to other units as needed and adapt to dynamic critical care environments\n
\n\nResponsibilities\n

- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to neuro and surgical intensive care patients in a 12-bed SICU\n
- Monitor and manage ventilators, vasoactive drips, arterial lines, central lines, and other advanced ICU equipment\n
- Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and bedside interventions in accordance with ICU protocols\n
- Document accurately and timely in Cerner EMR to support continuity of care\n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and case managers—to optimize patient outcomes\n
- Maintain professional standards, follow facility policies, and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement\n
