Title: Documentation & Records Coordinator
- Schedule: M-F, 8:30am – 5pm (some flex needed during audits)
Description:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented contractor to support CMC Development, specifically within Records Room operations and regulated documentation management. This role plays a critical part in maintaining compliance, ensuring accurate document control, and supporting audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain document management systems (DCM and PRM)
- Organize, index, and manage regulated documentation (both digital and physical)
- Execute periodic inventories and preservation activities within the Records Room
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements
- Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting materials related to documentation workflows
- Support documentation processes across:

- Archive Documentation Management
- Regulatory Compliance
- Administrative Support
Schedule & Work Environment
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
- Location: Onsite in Clayton
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM ET
- Flexibility:

- Limited flexibility for early/late hours during audits, inventories, or peak periods
- Occasional remote administrative work permitted when physical records are not required onsite
Qualifications
- High school diploma with 3+ years of related experience, or
- Associate’s degree with 1+ year of experience, or
- Bachelor’s degree with no prior experience required
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
Required Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional reliability and strong sense of urgency
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced, regulated environment
- Proficiency with:

- Computers and standard office equipment (copiers, scanners, fax machines, digital senders)
- Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Word)
- Strong organizational and documentation management skills
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and compliance
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Office certifications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Experience with document control or records management systems
- Prior experience in regulated environments (pharma, biotech, manufacturing, etc.)
Start Date
- ASAP – Immediate need to support knowledge transfer, training, and audit readiness
Additional Notes
- Entry-level candidates may be considered if they demonstrate strong technical aptitude, learning agility, and proficiency with digital tools
- Due to upcoming audits, the ability to ramp up quickly is critical
