Bookkeeper
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to handle daily accounting tasks, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure smooth bookkeeping operations. This role supports AP/AR, bank reconciliations, reporting, and general ledger upkeep across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update financial records, including AP/AR, bank statements, and general ledger entries.
- Prepare regular reconciliations for bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with month-end close by preparing supporting schedules and journal entries.
- Track inventory activity and assist with reconciliations as needed.
- Process vendor bills, customer invoices, and payment runs.
- Help resolve discrepancies related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
- Prepare basic financial reports and support management with ad-hoc analysis.
- Assist with documentation for audits and tax filings (sales tax, property tax, etc.).
- Maintain organized records and support improvements to accounting processes.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of AP/AR, reconciliations, and general accounting principles.
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting/ERP systems.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
