Locums | Cardiovascular Surgery | Call Only | Lubbock, TXWhy This Role?

• Urgent weekend call need due to long-term vacancy
• Beeper-only call with manageable case volume
• Opportunity to join a Level 2 trauma center with Epic EMR
• Privileging can begin immediately upon application submission

Duration: 10/1/2025 to OngoingCoverage Type: Call OnlySchedule: 1-2 weekends per month (Friday through Sunday), beeper call onlyClinical Details:

• Inpatient coverage only
• 7-10 patients per shift
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level 2 facility
• Support: 2 PA/NPs

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency)
• Active TX license (IMLC not accepted)
• ATLS required
• Clean history

Skills Needed:

• Cardiovascular surgery coverage (call-based)
• Ability to respond within 20-30 minutes to hospital call requests
