Job Summary
We are seeking a Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing Wellness Day Spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a holistic wellness team.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of massage and body treatments, including couples massage.
- Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy.
- Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals.
- Ensure a clean and safe facility.
- Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Hold current State license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy.
- Capable of performing deep tissue & sports massage.
- Willing to learn other massage techniques - bamboo, salt-stone, salt scrubs etc.
- Willing to provide services 3-days a week, at minimum and fill-in for couples massage, as your schedule allows.
- Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting.
