A Night Shift Pharmacist position is available at a well-regarded hospital within the Mass General Brigham (MGB) system, located in Brockton, MA. This contract opportunity is ideal for a pharmacist with Massachusetts licensure and hospital inpatient experience, ready to work a consistent overnight schedule that supports patient care and medication management during critical hours.

Schedule:

  • 7 days on, 7 days off
  • 9:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Responsibilities include ensuring accurate dispensing and verification of medications for inpatient hospital settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes, utilizing EPIC for electronic medical records, and managing medication inventory with Pyxis systems. The role demands strong attention to detail and adherence to hospital protocols.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Licensed Pharmacist in Massachusetts
  • Previous inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
  • Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
  • Experience using Pyxis automated medication management
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
