Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Provide critical care nursing in an intensive care unit setting on a contract basis located in Olathe, KS. This role requires adaptability and expertise in managing complex patient needs with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and assess patients in the ICU, addressing complex medical conditions with precision.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Float between units as staffing demands require, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards at all times.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current RN license with ICU nursing experience.
- Ability to assess critically ill patients and respond effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to float to different units as needed.
- Comfortable with weekend shifts and availability on at least 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays within a 6-week period.
Schedule:
- Every 3rd weekend (Saturday & Sunday) mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays required in a 6-week period.
- Flexible floating assignments based on staffing requirements.
