Transcend Counseling is seeking an associate/licensed therapist with strong clinical skills to support individuals, couples, and families dealing with mental health challenges. This is an opportunity to be employed in a private practice setting. Clinical responsibilities include providing psychotherapy, documenting, and scheduling.
Transcend is looking for an associate/licensed clinician who is available to work at least 10 clinical hours per week (Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday afternoon/early evenings). This position provides the clinician with furnished office space, billing support, insurance credentialing, clinical supervision/consultation, marketing, and referrals. The ideal candidate is someone who is excited to be part of a growing team and develop as a private practice therapist.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
*California LMFT/AMFT, LCSW, or Psychologist with license/registration in good standing
*CAQH account with up-to-date profile
*Experience working with couples, families, and individuals of different ages
*A strong skill set working with diverse populations around complex issues
*Willing to contract with insurance companies through Transcend Counseling
*Able to commute to office located in Thousand Oaks, CA
*Personal laptop and cell phone (monthly stipend included for employee use)
*Able to provide (2) professional references and pass a background check
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
· Collaborate with other health care professionals and service providers to ensure optimal client care
· Clinically conceptualize and collaborate on treatment planning with clients
· Adhere to departmental policies, procedures, objectives, and client care standards founded on evidence-based practices
· Evaluate and modify treatment program based on information gathered while working with clients
· Present clients with information required to make informed mental health treatment decisions
· Collaborate on discharge planning with clients
· Perform other duties as assigned
COMPENSATION
· Income dependent on caseload
· Hourly rate, starts at $40-$60 DOE
