Job DescriptionSOLDER TECHNICIAN???? Fort Worth, TX 76177
???? Pay Rate: $17.00/hour
???? Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position OverviewWe are seeking a Solder Technician to perform Level I and Level II refurbishment and repair of electronic devices. This role includes testing, disassembly, troubleshooting, reassembly, soldering, and quality inspection while supporting production goals related to quality, output, and turnaround time.
Required Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of electronic repair experience preferred
  • Prior soldering experience preferred
  • Ability to identify electrical components and defects
  • Knowledge of cosmetic and functional quality standards
  • Experience using hand and power tools (manual/electric screwdrivers, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • Ability to maintain a metal-free work environment
  • Ability to work assigned schedule and overtime as needed

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand or sit for 8+ hours per shift
  • Frequent bending, squatting, and reaching
  • Strong fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to see and work with small components

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities

  • Perform electronic repairs, soldering, assembly, and reassembly per work instructions
  • Disassemble and reassemble devices using manual and mechanical tools
  • Perform functional and cosmetic testing on repaired units
  • Identify, document, and segregate rejected or non-conforming units
  • Inspect and control non-compliant materials
  • Support scrap control and proper material disposition
  • Set up diagnostic benches and materials at the start and end of shifts
  • Meet yield KPIs and production targets
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas (5S standards)
  • Follow ESD procedures and required protective equipment
  • Report safety, quality, or equipment issues immediately
  • Provide feedback for process improvements
  • Escalate issues when assistance is needed to prevent workmanship errors
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Authorized to work in the US
1-2 years of electronic repair experience
Prior Soldering experience
