A K-12 school in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) for a full-time contract position. This role offers the opportunity to work onsite during the normal school year (NSY) with a diverse student population including those with autism, ADHD, and nonverbal communication needs. The position involves a caseload of 30-50 students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each students unique needs
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
- Documenting therapy sessions and maintaining accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Providing interventions to improve speech, language, communication, and social skills for students with diverse disorders and disabilities
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Minnesota SLP license is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Experience working with school-aged children including those with autism spectrum disorders and ADHD
- Ability to manage a caseload of 30-50 students effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to working collaboratively in an educational setting
