This contract opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse with school nursing experience seeking a flexible, per diem position within a K-12 setting in Minneapolis, MN. As a per diem RN, you will provide vital health services on an as-needed basis, offering coverage for planned absences of district nurses or stepping in daily to support various nursing needs.

Minneapolis, MN serving the Anoka-Hennepin school district
Position Details:
- Contract duration: February 17, 2026 June 5, 2026
- No guaranteed hours; strictly on-call staffing
- Flexible days and hours based on the districts needs
- Responsibilities may include coverage in the health office, 1:1 nursing support, or other school health-related duties
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Minnesota RN license (required for application)
- Proven experience as a school nurse or registered nurse within a school setting
- Ability to adapt easily to changing assignments and environments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfort working independently and managing health needs of diverse K-12 students
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver nursing care and health services to students per school policies
- Cover for licensed nurses during planned absences or fill in for daily assignments as needed
- Uphold confidentiality and maintain accurate health records
- Respond promptly to health emergencies and provide appropriate interventions
- Support individual student health plans, including 1:1 assignments when required
