Salary Range: $89,000 - $135,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the organization's Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with industry standards.
  • Ensure all manufactured products meet specified quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Lead and manage internal and external quality audits, driving corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for identified non-conformities.
  • Oversee the inspection, testing, and release of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Manage supplier quality programs, including assessments and performance monitoring, to ensure the quality of incoming materials.
  • Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends, report on quality performance, and implement data-driven improvements.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Expertise in developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, IATF 16949).
  • Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies including SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and Root Cause Analysis.
  • Demonstrated leadership ability to build, mentor, and manage quality teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
  • Proficiency with advanced statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
  • Experience integrating Quality Management Systems with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Lead auditor certification for a relevant ISO standard (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).
