Currently seeking a full-time Medical Assistant to join a premier, Double Board-Certified Facial Plastic Surgeons practice on the Upper East Side.

If these words resonate with you, please keep reading: Outgoing, People-Oriented, Collaborative, Lively, Enthusiastic, Empathetic, Detail-Oriented.

We specialize in facial procedures including, but not limited to, rhinoplasty, facelifts, injectables (dermal fillers and neurotoxins), laser skin treatments, and non-surgical body contouring. We provide our clients with world-class results in a warm, flawless, and highly attentive manner.

About the Role

This is a dynamic, fast-paced role that blends top-tier clinical support with relationship-building and patient education. You will be a vital part of the patient journey, requiring a "how can I help you?" attitude and a genuine interest in the needs of our patients and team.

While this is a clinical, MA-forward position, in-person sales and patient conversion are required. We are looking for an effective, persuasive communicator who can confidently educate patients on our treatments and help drive practice growth, all while adhering closely to established medical guidelines and protocols.

Clinical & Administrative Responsibilities

  • Rooming patients and ensuring a comfortable, welcoming environment.
  • Taking consistent, high-quality standard pre- and post-op photographs.
  • Assisting the provider with in-office non-surgical procedures.
  • Drawing up injectables accurately and efficiently.
  • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining impeccable treatment room standards.
  • Accurately charting and maintaining patient records in the EMR.
  • Engaging in in-person sales, educating patients on treatments, and successfully converting consultations into booked procedures.
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure open, flowing communication and exceptional patient follow-up.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous experience in plastic surgery, dermatology, or medical aesthetics is highly preferred.
  • Certification: CCMA certification is preferred, but not required.
  • Communication: Exceptional, professional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales Acumen: Comfortable with in-person sales, with a history of achieving and consistently exceeding personal and practice goals.
  • Work Style: Highly detail-oriented, able to work at a faster-than-average pace, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously without letting details slip.

Compensation & Perks

  • Base Salary: $65,000 per year
  • Bonus Structure: Quarterly performance bonuses AND an annual bonus.
  • Aesthetic Perks: Monthly staff treatments (unlocked when practice sales goals are met!).
  • Benefits (Eligible after 90 days): Health, Dental, and Vision insurance, 401(k) with matching, Paid Time Off (PTO), Life insurance, and Parental leave.

Schedule & Location

  • Job Type: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Work Setting: In-person (Upper East Side - New York, NY 10075)
