Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A skilled School Psychologist is needed for a contract position in Billings, MT, providing essential psychological services within a school setting. This role focuses on supporting students' mental health, learning, and behavioral development to foster a positive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students with diverse needs.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students' emotional and social well-being.
- Consult with teachers, staff, and parents to promote strategies addressing behavioral and academic challenges.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure effective outcomes.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and coordinate care.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with confidentiality and legal standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams.
- Knowledge of special education laws, processes, and IEP development.
