Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide expert nursing care on a medical-surgical unit focused on surgical recovery, oncology, and neurosurgery in a reputable hospital setting located near Saint Peters, MO. This 13-week night shift position (1900-0730) offers the opportunity to develop and utilize your skills supporting adult patients post-trauma and post-surgical interventions within a team-oriented environment where patient-centered care is prioritized.

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care using the nursing process.
• Coordinate care activities with multidisciplinary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort.
• Maintain patient rights, confidentiality, and professionalism in line with facility mission, values, and standards.
• Utilize specialized equipment including Alaris IV pumps, PCA pumps, wound vacs, and remote telemetry monitors.
• Flexibly float to other units as needed based on staffing demands.
• Adhere to mandated flu vaccination requirements or approved exemptions from November 1 through April 1.

Qualifications:

• Current, valid RN license meeting eligibility for Missouri licensure or holding Missouri RN license.
• Minimum one year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association required.
• Preferred certifications: ACLS and TNCC from AHA.
• Ability to work night shift hours and participate in weekend scheduling as required.
• Patient-focused, collaborative team member with strong clinical skills.

Schedule:

• Night shift: 1900-0730
• Weekend hours as required (approximately every other weekend)
• Guaranteed 36 or 48 hours weekly, to be specified on submission
