Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist responsible for setting up and operating various CNC machines, including both mill and lathe machines, in a job shop environment. The role involves working with large CNC machines, reading blueprints, and using measuring tools to ensure precision within tolerances of +/- 0.001. You will work with G&M codes, edit programs at the machine using MasterCAM and Solidworks, and occasionally utilize manual machines and grinders.
Responsibilities
- Perform tooling changes and machine setups every shift.
- Read blueprints and use measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Work within tolerances of +/- 0.001.
- Edit programs at the machine using G&M codes.
- Utilize MasterCAM and Solidworks for programming.
- Operate manual machines and grinders as needed.
Essential Skills
- 6-8 years of CNC Machining experience, preferably with mills.
- Experience in setting up machines and performing tooling changes.
- Proficiency in completing program edits using G&M codes.
- Ability to use micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Capability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Experience in a job shop environment as opposed to production machining.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Experience in maintaining tolerances of +/- 0.001.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $79560.00/yr.
