Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
\n• Up to 5 weekend shifts per schedule (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
\n• Holiday requirements if contract falls during holiday periods
\n• Patient ratios vary from 1:1, 1:2, to 1:3 in mixed ICU and step-down unit
\n• Float within scope to meet facility needs as required
\n• 2 years of PICU experience required
\n• First-time travelers accepted
\n• ECMO and CRRT experience preferred
\n• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only)
\n• 12 hours of orientation provided
\n• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
\n• Must submit all RTO at time of submission
\n• Care for pediatric patients ages 0-18 with medical and surgical diagnoses
\n• Work with conditions including respiratory compromise, trauma, post-operative patients, neurology/neurosurgery cases
\n• Utilize EPIC charting system
\n• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)

The facility features a 28-bed Pediatric Intensive Care unit providing intensive and intermediate care to children from across the state. The unit offers comprehensive services including ventilatory and cardiac support, ECMO/CRRT, renal and peritoneal dialysis, and complex supportive therapies. The facility maintains a teaching environment with interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, pediatric dietitians, pharmacists, and various specialized teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
