Immediate opportunity for a skilled inpatient pharmacist to work overnight shifts in a dynamic hospital environment. This 13-week contract position begins March 23 and offers a focused role supporting inpatient pharmacy operations. Work schedules follow a 7 on/7 off Tuesday through Monday rotation from 9 PM to 7 AM, providing consistency and work-life balance during your assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform typical inpatient pharmacy duties including medication verification and order checking
- Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Conduct intravenous (IV) admixture checking following hospital protocols
- Utilize EPIC electronic medical records system for medication order processing
Desired Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Valid Illinois pharmacist license
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR system preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to supervise pharmacy staff effectively
