The Home Delivery Lead is responsible for ensuring guests and vendors receive high level of support with regards to home damage claims and vendor billing, delivery routing and delivery paperwork.
Essential Functions:
The Home Delivery Lead ensures a seamless experience for guests and vendors by managing home damage claims, vendor billing, delivery routing, and associated paperwork. This role serves as a key point of contact for claims resolution and delivery operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with FDE Core Values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, review, and respond to Home Damage claims from guests and vendors on a daily basis.
- Upload Home Damage claims into the SharePoint claims folder and track their status throughout the process.
- Process Home Damage claims as Release Forms are received, maintaining clear communication with guests and vendors.
- Ensure the Home Damage program is up-to-date, providing timely notifications to guests during the claims process.
- Complete routing for guest sales orders using PackagAI routing software.
- Collect and review daily Control Forms, calculate relevant data, and enter information into the Vendor billing worksheet.
- Verify accuracy of data against established statistics and perform weekly reconciliations for vendor invoices.
- Respond promptly to inquiries regarding delivery timeframes, Home Damage claims, and vendor invoice issues.
- Ensure all daily delivery manifests are accurate and complete for load-out.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all transactions and communications.
- Participate in daily huddles, regular staff meetings, and required training sessions.
- Perform additional tasks and duties as assigned in alignment with business needs.
Schedule Expectations
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Schedule determined by business necessity; weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) may be required.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Prior experience in the furniture or home delivery industry preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer proficiency; ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Excellent organizational, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Basic mathematical understanding for data entry and reconciliation tasks.
