Director of Case Management (Acute Care Setting Experience Required)
Location: Las Vegas, NV
Salary Range: $135,004 – $202,555 (Based on experience)
Annual Incentive Bonus: Up to 17.5%
Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis
Schedule: Full-time | Day Shift (7–10 hour shifts) | Rotating Weekend On-Call
Position Overview
The Director of Case Management will provide comprehensive operational and clinical leadership for Case Management, Social Work, and Chaplaincy services. Reporting to divisional executive leadership, this role oversees a large, multidisciplinary team of approximately 110 FTEs, including multiple managers and supervisory staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership for Case Management services, ensuring optimal utilization of clinical resources and seamless continuity of care
- Oversee daily departmental operations including staffing, workforce planning, budgeting, and technology integration
- Lead performance improvement initiatives through data analysis, KPI monitoring, and implementation of sustainable quality outcomes
- Collaborate with executive leadership including CFO, CMO, CNO, and compliance/legal teams to align operational and strategic goals
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with physicians and post-acute care providers to enhance discharge planning and care transitions
- Drive staff development, competency management, and leadership growth within a high-volume trauma environment
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree (MSN, MHA, MBA, or related field) strongly preferred
Licensure:
- Active RN license, LCSW, or LMSW required
Experience:
- Minimum 3+ years of acute care hospital case management experience
- Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in a case management setting

- Proven success in high-acuity, high-volume hospital environments
- Ability to analyze complex operational data and implement effective solutions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven leader with a track record of driving measurable outcomes
