Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable Septic Pump Truck Driver to safely operate a vacuum pump truck to service residential and commercial septic systems. This role requires strong driving skills, mechanical awareness, and excellent customer service. All trucks are automatic transmissions.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a septic pump/vacuum truck
- Pump, clean, and service septic tanks and holding systems
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Accurately complete service tickets and documentation
- Provide professional, courteous customer service
- Respond to scheduled routes and occasional emergency calls
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Class B minimum - MUST have airbrakes and tanker endorsement)
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Mechanical aptitude is a plus
- Septic or vacuum truck experience preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
