Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Support students with special needs in a dynamic school setting near Yuba City, California, as a Behavioral Health Assistant or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). This per diem position offers flexibility with scheduling and the chance to work one-on-one with students ranging from kindergarten through 12th grade. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct 1:1 support to students requiring behavioral assistance
- Implement ABA therapy techniques under the supervision of board-certified professionals
- Collaborate with school staff to support individual education plans (IEPs)
- Collect data and document student progress regularly
- Maintain professional communication with teachers, parents, and team members
Qualifications:
- Current and active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification with the BACB
- Experience working as a paraprofessional, behavioral health assistant, or ABA therapist in educational settings
- Familiarity with state IEP programs is preferred
- Bilingual skills are an asset but not mandatory
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
