Position Summary:
The Customer Finance Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst is responsible for providing financial insights and analytical support related to customer performance, pricing, margins, and profitability. This role
serves as a strategic business partner between the Finance team, Sales, and Commercial functions, ensuring data-driven decision-making to maximize profitability and customer value. The ideal candidate combines strong financial acumen with analytical capability and business understanding, transforming complex data into actionable insights. Must have Customer FPA experience and know how to perform this function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial planning cycles, focusing on customer-level sales, margins, and profitability.
  • Prepare variance analyses against budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key business drivers.
  • Develop customer-level profitability dashboards and financial models.
  • Customer & Commercial Insights
  • Analyze customer trends including sales mix, pricing evolution, and contribution margin.
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to assess the financial impact of pricing initiatives, discounts, rebates, and customer programs.
  • Evaluate new business opportunities, tenders, or renewals from a financial standpoint.
  • Study customer quarterly financials and provide insights on customer risk and opportunity and report out as part of Customer FPA
  • Reporting &Data Management
  • Consolidate and validate data from ERP, CRM, and BI systems to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  • Maintain customer performance reports and KPIs, presenting findings to senior management.
  • Automate recurring reports and streamline data collection and visualization processes.
  • Strategic Support
  • Provide financial input during contract negotiations, ensuring commercial terms align with profitability targets.
  • Support ad-hoc analyses and strategic projects, including customer segmentation and cost-to-serve analysis.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities across finance and commercial processes.


Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting,.
  • MBA or professional certification (CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred.

Experience:

  • Must have 3–5 years of experience in Customer FP&A work preferably in seating industry.
  • Experience analyzing customer or product-level profitability, financial statements interpretations,
  • Powerpoint to summarize weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual reports.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
  • Strong data management and modeling skills.

Soft Skills:

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and business acumen.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
